TRAINING was established in 1995 when the opportunity was seized to establish a company which sought to address the training needs within communities, companies and government departments. Training provides Skills training in building related trades, construction and road construction and other related courses for organizations, companies and communities. To empower workers through training and skills development to create job opportunities and to increase productivity and quality of work. Courses are developed on a modular or unit standard basis and includes measurable objectives and criterion tests and could be aligned with national qualification guidelines (NQF). During training emphasis is placed on the reinforcement of entrepreneurial skills. The duration of courses varies according to the client’s needs. Training is often linked to sustainable projects, for example the building of schools, clinics, RDP houses, etc. After completion of a course trainees would be in a better position to find employment. Newly acquired skills could also be used to start an own business as great emphasis is placed on entrepreneurship as doorway to economic sustainability of our previously disadvantaged communities. Workplace Skills Development (WSD) is seen as the means through which the performance and productivity of organizations are enhanced, as individuals in these organizations become more competent in undertaking responsibilities. The process of Workplace Skills Development is the instrument for transforming the workplace and establishing a culture of lifelong learning.
